One last chance to comply, says JCRA

FIRMS are being given one last chance by the Island’s competition regulator to comply with the full requirements of the Competition Law.

When the law first came into effect in November, firms were given a further six months grace to put their affairs in order.

That transitional period will expire on 1 May and from Monday anti-competitive arrangements – such as distribution or purchasing arrangements, trade or professional association rules or abuse of dominant position – will be subject to relevant sanctions.
