A more energy efficient Island?

ISLANDERS could soon receive grants from the States to increase energy efficiency in their homes.
Environment Minister Freddie Cohen told States Members yesterday that steps to increase energy efficiency in all homes and buildings had already been taken, but it was hoped that a more comprehensive list of regulations would be in place by 2007.
These would include the possibility of funding to encourage people to embrace renewable and more efficient energy sources like solar panelling.
