Chief Minister calls for WEB to be disbanded

THE Chief Minister wants to disband the Waterfront Enterprise Board.

Senator Frank Walker will ask the States to replace it with a new company which will have responsibility not only for the waterfront but all States property which might in future be developed or sold off.

He will also ask for WEB to be chaired in the interim period by former Deputy Gerald Voisin after the Council of Ministers decided they no longer wanted former Senator Pierre Horsfall in the role.
