States vote for homes plan limit

A LIMIT of 97 homes should be put on development land near Sandybrook, according to States Members.
They want Environment Minister Freddie Cohen to ask the States to change the Island Plan and turn an estimate of how many homes could be built on fields in St Lawrence into the maximum number allowed.
In an earlier statement Senator Cohen said that he alone would decide how many homes would be built on the site – after hearing from the applicants and the objectors – and that he would take into account the views of States Members.
