Invitation to interrogation

MASTERMIND presenter and BBC Radio 4 Today programme anchorman John Humphrys was in Jersey this week to chair a presentation on behalf of Swiss bank UBS.

Mr Humphrys’ reputation as an interrogator of politicians was undoubtedly one of the attractions for the 300 or so Jersey finance professionals and UBS clients who attended Monday’s presentation and champagne reception at the Hotel de France.

For the first five minutes or so he regaled the invited audience with anecdotes of life on the other side of the microphone, accompanied by verbal and facial impressions of Prime Minister Tony Blair and Chancellor Gordon Brown.

Then it was the turn of four UBS presenters to put across their own message about the Seven Wonders of Wealth Management.
