Better winds for Hobies

JERSEY crews Laurence and David Carter, and Laura Jane Carter and Thomas Harris, competing in respective Open and junior classes in the World Hobie Dragoon championships in Spain are in today’s finals after a windy day on the water yesterday.
Laurence (10) steered the catamaran to a third and second-place finish for overall fifth of the top ten who compete in the gold final.
Harris and Laura Jane Carter had a seventh and a second place yesterday, to earn a place in the silver fleet finals with 15th position.
