Eviction for owner of dog that ‘tore cat to shreds’

HOUSING are bringing eviction proceedings against a tenant whose dog ‘tore a cat to shreds’ in front of the children who owned it.
Housing Minister Terry Le Main is taking an eviction case to the Petty Debts Court on 17 January because the tenant owns a large dog in breach of the tenancy agreement, and has refused requests to control it. Senator Le Main says the animal mauled a cat from the house next door and tore it to shreds, right in front of the children who owned it.
