Island ‘is global player’ in business continuity

BUSINESS continuity expert Chris Oliver has recently returned from a trip to New York to address a gathering of representatives of some the world’s best known companies at the British Consulate.
And the head of practice for Itex in Jersey and Guernsey and chairman and co-founder of the Business Continuity Institute in the islands was surprised that the city which suffered so badly from the events of 9/11 harboured so much respect for Jersey.
He said: ‘Though we may not recognise it, Jersey is already acknowledged as an established global player in business continuity.
