Barclay twins buy Sark estates

A LARGE part of Sark is to be bought by the Barclay brothers.
Sir David and Sir Frederick, who own nearby Brecqhou, are to purchase the Beau Regard Hotel for an undisclosed sum. The agreement includes its land and planning permission for a new hotel and golf course. The deal also includes the Bel Air estate, which covers approximately 30 acres, while Beau Regard covers about 63.
