Annual share competition raises £3,000 for Hospice

STANDARD Bank’s annual share competition has raised £3,000 for Jersey Hospice Care – bringing the sum raised for charities since it was launched to over £41,000.
The competition was split into two parts.
The first required entrants to pick five stocks with the aim of achieving the highest overall percentage gain from 14 February to 8 December.
The second part asked entrants to predict the closing level of the FTSE 100 Index on 8 December.
