Bank’s January sale to benefit green charities

HSBC’S annual sale has gone green for 2007.

HSBC, which pioneered the bank sale idea in 2005, has launched the HSBC Green Sale and promised that for every sale product sold it will give £2 to a fund that will be distributed among its four environmental charity partners – the Climate Group, Botanic Gardens Conservation International, Earthwatch Institute and ENCAMS, which runs the Keep Britain Tidy campaign.

It expects to raise more than £1 million for the charities.
