‘I’ll kill Hitler for you’

JERSEY’S most celebrated wartime prisoner offered to assassinate Hitler at the height of the Second World War, according to documents released today.
Information released by the UK National Archives shed more light on the exploits of Eddie Chapman – a professional safebreaker who became one of Britain’s most successful double agents.
