Itex turn up the power

ITEX is spending £500,000 on the electrical infrastructure at its data centre at Rue des Prés.
The project is designed to ensure an uninterrupted electrical power supply for its clients.
The new systems, say Itex, have been designed by UK data centre specialists to the latest international standards.
The work includes providing a significantly upgraded incoming power supply, which will increase capacity by 150%.
It will be supported by a 1000KVA generator – believed to be the largest in Jersey – to ensure power during any failure in the mains supply.
