Dig out those discs!

A DRIVE to collect DVDs, CDs and computer games to sell at Jersey’s largest ever second-hand disc sale is gathering pace.

Islanders have been donating their unwanted discs to community charity Jersey Side by Side by dropping them off at parish halls, secondary schools and other collection points. They will be sold at the Jersey Side by Side Big Disc Sale at Grainville School on Saturday 24 February. The event is being organised by the Jersey Evening Post, which staged the unique Side by Side beach gathering of 5,000 Islanders from which the charity grew and took its name following the 2004 tsunami disaster.
