TWO men died in a car crash in Grouville this morning.

Three others are in hospital, one with severe head injuries, and a sixth man is being questioned by the police. The red Vauxhall Astra Sport in which they were travelling hit the iron gates and pillars of a house near Grouville Parish Hall just before 3 am. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and another died in hospital. Their details have not been released. Three other people are being treated in hospital and another – a 24-year-old man – is helping the police with their inquiries at Rouge Bouillon. One of the injured, thought be a man in his 40s, suffered severe head injuries. Another, in his mid-20s, injured his legs. The injuries of the third person have not been released, although he is thought to be in his late 20s.
