Two die in car crash on Grouville Hill

TWO men died in a car crash in Grouville this morning.
Three others are in hospital, one with severe head injuries, and a sixth man is being questioned by the police. The red Vauxhall Astra Sport in which they were travelling hit the iron gates and pillars of a house near Grouville Parish Hall just before 3 am. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and another died in hospital. Their details have not been released. Three other people are being treated in hospital and another – a 24-year-old man – is helping the police with their inquiries at Rouge Bouillon. One of the injured, thought be a man in his 40s, suffered severe head injuries. Another, in his mid-20s, injured his legs. The injuries of the third person have not been released, although he is thought to be in his late 20s. Anyone who saw the car before the crash is asked to contact the police on 612612 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
