‘Dynamic’ new station will alter the way we catch the bus

BUS users are being asked to remain open minded about the new transportation centre, which is currently being built on the Island Site.
Transport and Technical Services chief executive John Richardson said that Islanders would have to get used to a new way of catching the bus. ‘It will be a dynamic bus station and very different to the fixed stops of the Weighbridge,’ he said. ‘Using the latest technology buses will not always use the same stop and the operator and the public will have to get used to it. ‘It will be very different to the current station but will hopefully be an improvement for everyone.’
