Concern ask ‘ten crucial questions’

CAMPAIGNERS who say that unbridled population growth will ruin Jersey are throwing down the gauntlet to politicians who want new immigrants to stoke the economy.
In an advertisement in today’s JEP, action group Concern is challenging States Members to answer ten ‘crucial’ questions about the effect of letting more people into the Island. They want to know, for example, in whose ‘back yards’ new homes will be built, how schools, the Hospital and the police will cope, and how the current transport system will have to be developed.
