GRAEME Le Saux and his ghost writer were in Jersey this week putting together the final elements of his life story so far.

The former England international and Chelsea footballer took his ghost writer on an Island tour that took in the homes where he was brought up and the schools where he was educated, as well as to some of the places that were important to him as he grew up, including St Ouen’s Bay. Graeme’s collaborator on his life story is award-winning sports journalist and Daily Mirror chief sports writer Oliver Holt. He retained the Sports Journalist of the Year title at the British Press Awards in 2006, having won it the previous year.
