Flybe to honour BA tickets if air strike goes ahead
Friday 26th January 2007, 12:00AM GMT.
FLYBE will honour British Airways tickets on flights from Jersey Gatwick during the expected two-day strike next week.
All BA flights to and from the Island will be cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday because of a strike organised by cabin-crew, who are protesting about the company’s sickness policy. BA are rebooking or refunding all affected passengers but rival Flybe has now offered to help. Passengers wishing to take Flybe up on its offer should contact the airline’s customer call centre on 0871 522 6100. Flybe is not putting on any extra flights and seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
