FORMER Muratti striker Jimmy Reilly moved four goals clear at the top of the Coca-Cola Combination Division I scoring chart after hitting his third hat-trick of the season on Saturday.

Reilly moved on to 26 goals after bagging his treble in a 10-2 victory against relegated Magpies at Trinity.

Stephen McCarter also hit a hat-trick, Ashley Dodd a brace and John Rutter and Graham Ling singles.

Magpies’ consolations were registered by Chris Robinson and Paul Cauvain.

Jersey Scottish retained Division I Reserves status for next season after a 4-2 win against relegation-threatened Sporting Academics at Les Quennevais.

There were doubles by Benoit Le Houerou and Jason O’Prey for the Scots, with the Accies registering through Alan Singh and James Ware.

Two goals from former Muratti striker Gary Freeman took St Peter to a 2-0 home win against First Tower, the latter being awarded three points over the weekend after Jersey Wanderers fielded an ineligible player in a recent win against them.

St Martin/SCF and St Clement were involved in a ten-goal Division C thriller at St Martin, where the hosts won 6-4.

Steve Irvine (three), Michael Quinn and Alan and Ben Cesar scored for the winners, with Matt Rawlings scoring all four for St Clement.

St Lawrence finished in bottom place after going down 4-1 at home to Sporting Academics.

Michael Perreira notched a hat-trick and Kevin Johnson a single for the visitors, with Christian Guy on the mark for the hosts.
