Courtney (12) will dance at the Albert Hall

A JERSEY girl will dance at the Royal Albert Hall in the English National Ballet’s performance of Swan Lake in June.

Courtney de Gruchy (12) left the Island two years ago to accept a scholarship at the Arts Educational School in Hertfordshire where she studies a range of dancing with ballet as her forte. Swan Lake will be Courtney’s third appearance with the English National Ballet after dancing in their production of The Nutcracker at the London Coliseum and the Mayflower in Southampton in December last year. Courtney was one of six dancers to be selected from her school to be in the upcoming performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
