Players wanted for Edinburgh team

AN Island playwright and actor is looking for two thespians to dance a merry jig with him all the way to the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe festival.
The head of drama at Les Quennevais School, Richard Haighton, has written a three-man play based upon the life of Will Kempe, a member of Shakespeare’s acting troupe who once morris-danced from London to Norwich. Kempe was a major celebrity of his day and performed for kings and queens across Europe. Richard’s play is written and a venue has been booked for a month in the Scottish capital, but he still needs his cast. ‘I am looking for a young actor who can play the female roles and I am looking for a middle-aged man to play Will Kempe, the lead,’ Richard said.
