A MEAL prepared in Jersey this week is due to be eaten by Bangladesh’s World Cup cricketers in Barbados at the weekend.
Bangladesh pulled off one of the shocks of the tournament last week in defeating South Africa in the Super 8 stage. Today they play England. Sultan Al Mahmood, who is the head chef and owner of Mahmood’s Tandoori Night restaurant, is taking on the challenge of pre-paring an authentic Bangladeshi meal and travelling with it to the West Indies to serve it at a party on Saturday night.
