Saturday 14th April 2007, 12:00AM BST.
JERSEY completed their Primary Schools’ Festival football programme yesterday with a 1-0 victory over Plymouth, the latter who suffered their first defeat of the week.
Fraser Barlow continued his good from to score the only goal following an excellent run and cross from the left by Adam Trotter who was strong holding off an opponent at the same time.
Jersey coach Tony Hoyland said: ‘The boys carried on where they left off on Thursday against Chiltern, they built on that success and won a close game between two good teams.
‘Second half we matched Plymouth tackle for tackle and that helped us through in the end.
