Back to the future for Le Coie resident

A WOMAN who worked at Le Coie Hotel for 17 years is now living at a new development on the same site.

Maria Noel moved to the Island from Madeira in 1981 and started working at Le Coie Hotel a year later. She worked as a waitress at the hotel until 1999 – a year before it closed. Last September Mrs Noel and her husband, Anthony, moved into their new flat in the development which has been built on the Le Coie site. Pool Mrs Noel said: ‘I really enjoyed my time at Le Coie Hotel. It was a very good place to work. It’s very nice to be back here, and our flat is lovely.’
