New chairman for Flying Brands

JERSEY home shopping firm Flying Brands has appointed a new chairman and non-executive director, following the annual general meeting on Tuesday.
Former deputy chairman Tim Trotter succeeds Paul Fraser as chairman.
Mr Trotter (47) was appointed to the Board in 2000 and became deputy chairman in March 2006.
He is a non-executive director of Vislink PLC and chairman of Smithfield Consultants Ltd and formerly chairman of Ludgate Group Ltd.
John Henwood, who chairs Jersey Telecom, has joined the Flying Brands Board.
Mr Henwood (61) is also vice-chairman of Jersey Finance Ltd and a director of Kleinwort Benson.
He was formerly chief executive of Channel Television and a director of the ITV network and has served on States of Jersey review and advisory bodies.
