First report for new government

A REPORT compiling statistics from the first year of ministerial government has been published by Privileges and Procedures.

The first edition of the Annual Report of the States Assembly, which is required every year under the new States of Jersey Law, was published this morning and lays out statistics for propositions, debates, and the work of scrutiny and ministers. It says the States sat for 191 hours and five minutes in 2006, spread out through 38 days of sittings.
