HSBC award’s offshore success

JERSEY is part of the best area in HSBC’s British empire.

The Offshore sector – Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man – was named Area of the Year at the bank’s annual awards celebration at Battersea Arena, London recently, beating off competition from 45 other UK areas.

A positive feedback from the offshore bank’s customers and a high degree of satisfaction with their roles from employees were two of the factors which helped clinch the award.

Other criteria included the effectiveness of HSBC’s offshore compliance and business procedures and its financial performance.
