Chief Minister to explain the Jersey brand

Thursday 31st May 2007, 12:00AM BST.

CHIEF Minister Frank Walker will next week launch his campaign to persuade the Island that the £240,000 ‘Jersey brand’ exercise is not a waste of public money.

Sessions have been arranged for the public, the media and States Members at the Jersey Arts Centre on Tuesday, and Senator Walker says it will be an opportunity to see the results of the £240,000 branding exercise beyond the logo, dubbed the flying banana, that has attracted so much criticism in recent weeks. The public meeting will start at 5.30 pm.
