Sex advice centre asked to target younger clients
Saturday 15th September 2007, 12:00AM BST.
A SEX advice centre has reduced its upper age limit in response to increasing sexual activity among the young.
The Brook advisory centre will now only help people aged 21 and under with sex advice and contraception from January. They currently see people up to the age of 25 but their services are to be targeted at younger Islanders at the request of the Health and Social Services. Older clients will be encouraged to attend one of the free contraceptive clinics at Le Bas Centre, and consideration is also being given to holding a Saturday session there for them.
