A great weekend for Hospice

THE biggest fund-raising weekend in Jersey Hospice Care’s entire history ended with the charity banking £630,000.

The 25th Anniversary Ball and auction at the Hotel de France on Saturday night raised £200,000. A further £30,000 came from the big-gest ever Dragon Boat event at the Albert Pier on Saturday. And the £1 million lottery on Friday night raised a sum of £400,000 for the charity.
