Snooker:Centurion Canavan leads the way again

AARON CANAVAN scored a magnificent break of 113 against the current Island champion on the opening night of the Channel Blind Co Snooker League at the 147 Club last night.

Playing for 147 CBS against fellow Island player Karl Le Fèvre of the 147 A, only a kick on the yellow prevented a possible 140 break.

However, Canavan, the Jersey Festival of Pool amateur champion for the past two years, still has some way to go to better his league-best break of last season, 126.
