Investors pay £2. 5m for Hill Street offices
Wednesday 26th September 2007, 12:00AM BST.
THE former HSBC building at 2 Hill Street has been sold for more than £2 million to two Jersey residents.
The private investors bought the property for £2,255,000 under the company name of 2 Hill Street Investment Ltd from previous owner HSBC.
The 16,000 sq ft building has stood empty for four years following HSBC’s move to the Esplanade, but it will now be maintained as offices, refurbished and then let out.
The property was built in the 1980s, and it is yet to be decided if the new owners will want to let out the offices floor by floor or as an entire entity.
