ISLANDERS who are preparing for a gruelling trek and cycle through Vietnam next month for charity have faced an even bigger challenge – stripping for a naked photoshoot.

Inspired by the legendary members of North Yorkshire’s Women’s Institute, men and women who have signed up to the Bedell Group Vietnam Challenge 2007 have taken their clothes off for a calendar to raise funds for Jersey Hospice. The calendar features photographs, shot by Jon Tarrant, taken in a bike shop, on a tandem bike, and even at Airport security wearing nothing but a pair of walking boots.
