Jail for knife attack on childhood friend

A MAN who stabbed his childhood friend in the back with a kitchen knife was jailed for four years yesterday.

Adrian Gladwin (39) attacked his friend as he sat on the sofa after a drunken row on Easter Sunday. The victim, who had known Gladwin since the age of 14, was in hospital for a month following the stabbing and is still suffering psychological damage.
