Fishermen may claim against Guernsey

GUERNSEY could be forced to pay hundreds of thousands of pounds in compensation to fishermen from Jersey and the UK.
It is understood that fishermen are considering claiming for losses since Guernsey banned them from their waters four years ago. That decision was ruled unlawful this summer by the Privy Council, and the chairman of the Jersey Fishermen’s Association, Mike Taylor, confirmed that some of his members may be considering legal action.
