Mourant remains the top fund administrator

MOURANT continues to be the largest fund administration operation in Jersey, according to the latest edition of the Lipper Jersey Fund Encyclopaedia.

According to the annual publication the fund servicing sector in the Island has increased by nearly 150% over the past five years, from £59.

billion in 2002 to £112.

billion at the end of June.

The publication says that of the funds domiciled in the Island the largest asset classes are property/real estate, with total net assets of $69.

billion – 41% of the total.

Private equity/venture capital funds total $33 billion.

The fund encyclopaedia, which has been produced for the past 13 years, compares the market share of auditors, lawyers, custodians, administrators and fund providers.
