Perky in pink

FUND-RAISERS were be painting the town pink today to raise money for breast cancer sufferers in Jersey.

Ladies from the charity After Breast Cancer Support Group Jersey will be dressed up in pink outside Marks & Spencer. As well as raising money, they are going to be talking to passers-by to raise awareness about the work of the charity. Shops and businesses around the Island were also getting into the spirit of the day by dressing in pink. The pink ladies were due to be joined at around midday by their patron, Lady Linda Bailhache, the wife of the Bailiff, Sir Philip Bailhache.
