A special festival for young musicians

MORE than 170 young musicians in Jersey will be performing at a special concert this weekend.

The Jersey Festival of Music for Youth will be taking place at Haute Vallee School tomorrow night, as part of a nationwide series of 57 regional festivals.

The series, which is this year celebrating its 35th anniversary, is held in collaboration with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and involves 1,500 young music groups.
