Police interview paedophiles at La Moye prison

CONVICTED paedophiles are among those interviewed as victims in the Haut de la Garenne scandal.

Police have interviewed prisoners at La Moye prison and plan to interview more prisoners in the UK over the coming weeks about the abuse they received at the home.

A high proportion of abuse victims go on to abuse children themselves and the officer in charge of the Haut de la Garenne inquiry says that anyone who comes forward with information will be treated the same.

Deputy police chief Lenny Harper said: ‘I would not want people who have offended in the past to be put off from talking to us because they fear we might treat them differently.
