BUSINESS support for ministers is on a knife-edge, according to a Chamber of Commerce opinion poll.
The results of the Chamber online poll, released today, show that members believe by a narrow margin that the Council of Ministers have been good for business.
With elections looming at the end of the year, business leaders have shown support for ministers that could be described as lukewarm at best, and have given a scathing response to the value of Scrutiny.
More than two thirds of the 125 members who responded to the poll do not think the Scrutiny panels, set up as a counter-balance to ministerial power, have been effective.
