Thursday 6th March 2008, 12:00AM GMT.
A GROUP of States Members and civil servants meet every day to check the media coverage of the Haut de la Garenne investigation and get updates from the police.
The group, led by Chief Minister Frank Walker, have been put together to ‘monitor and manage the crisis’.
Senator Walker said: ‘We update ourselves on how things have gone overnight, we obviously get updates from time to time on where the police investigation is and we are continuing to monitor progress generally.
‘Clearly – and there is no other way of putting it – Jersey is going through a crisis, and as with all governments we need a team to monitor and manage the crisis.
