Friday 7th March 2008, 12:00AM GMT.
YOUNG people in Jersey have been praised by UK universities for their mature attitude towards further education.
Hundreds of students flocked to Hautlieu School yesterday for the most comprehensive Higher Education Fair that the Island has ever seen.
More than 70 universities were present at the fair, along with agencies representing colleges in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and South Africa.
Young people from all of the Island’s secondary schools attended the fair during the afternoon.
