Boiler causes fire at house

A YOUNG family had a lucky escape from a fire that totally destroyed a room in their house on Friday night.
When firefighters arrived just before 8.30 pm, flames were running up the outside of the building and threatening the roof. But the fire was brought quickly under control.
Investigators said this morning that a faulty boiler was the most likely cause of the blaze.
