Retirement village plan for Millbrook

PLAYING fields next to Victoria Avenue could soon make way for a retirement village.
A joint initiative between the UK landowners, local investors and the Rotary Club of Jersey, published today, could see the Millbrook playing fields, in between the Avenue and the inner road, used to provide up to 75 homes for the over-55s.
The village would include care facilities, cafes, shops, and a new Good Companions Club on land gifted to the Rotary Club of Jersey by the developer.
