Ten weeks of delays on the Avenue over spring
Friday 14th March 2008, 12:00AM GMT.
JERSEY’S busiest road will be hit by delays for ten weeks over spring in part of a £1m resurfacing project.
The western end of Victoria Avenue – between Bel Royal and Rue du Galet – is being resurfaced, with new lights and PA equipment installed and the central reservation widened to take up the ‘ghosted out’ areas.
Work starts on Tuesday 8 April.
