Les Ormes decision to be reviewed
Wednesday 19th March 2008, 12:00AM GMT.
THE decision to allow an adventure park to be built next to a St Brelade beauty spot will be reviewed by a St Brelade Deputy.
Environment Minister Freddie Cohen has asked Deputy Sean Power to review the information given to him by planning officers that led to his approving the Les Ormes adventure park next to Creepy Valley.
It follows complaints from neighbours who said that the officers used inaccurate photos and were wrong to recommend approval for the park.
The site, which is due to open in April, includes a 12-metre tower that can be seen from Les Quennevais playing fields, zip wires and an obstacle course.
It is surrounded by an 8 ft bank which borders protected woodland.
