Giant egg is a cracker!

A CHICKEN has taken the idea of giving giant eggs at Easter a bit too literally.
On Tuesday the unnamed chicken at the Poplars Tea Room, St Brelade, laid an egg which is two and a half times the size of a normal egg.
Gill Devon from the tea room said the egg, which weighed 124g compared to a 54g normal egg, is expected to have a double yolk and will be made into a frittata over the weekend.
