Two more rooms found at Haut de la Garenne
Tuesday 25th March 2008, 12:00AM GMT.
THE police have established the presence of two more underground rooms at Haut de la Garenne after being told by a victim that he or she had been abused in one of them.
Deputy police chief Lenny Harper said today that it was believed that the third room was very much like room two, in which scenes-of-crime officers are working at present.
‘The fourth room is similar, but may have reduced headroom,’ he added.
Mr Harper also confirmed that a number of items had been recovered from cellars one and two which tended to corroborate the statements of victims and were possibly of forensic significance.
