Thursday 27th March 2008, 12:00AM GMT.
AFTER months beset by problems, HD Ferries are ready to set sail again tomorrow morning after a £1 million overhaul of its car ferry.
The company has announced that its vessel HD1 has completed all required certification checks. She sailed on all four engines yesterday on the journey from dock in Portsmouth to Jersey.
HD1 will depart from St Helier tomorrow at 7.15 am and head off to St Malo to resume operations. The journey time is scheduled to be an hour at speeds of up to 47 knots, and she is expected to carry a full load of 400 passengers and up to 100 vehicles.
